What a Trooper!

First let me say that this was a great practice leading up to this weekend.

I also want to thank every person that has stepped up to help grow these kids. The progress is unreal. Please take a look around at practice. It's truly impressive. I want to say that I sorta struggled last year getting parents involved. NOT THIS SEASON!!! Thank you again.

3-4 Steelers you looked great today. We are really working hard to be better. You are catching on real well. Tim and James thank you. It's great sharing ideas with you both and getting the kids ready. 3-4 Steelers get ready for your photo's and another good game against the eagles.

For those of you who missed it we had a pretty hard hit today at pratice. Akai and Brown about knocked each other out. Brown got a tooth knocked out. It was really lose but not the way that you want to lose a tooth. Akai has a nice imprint of Brown's tooth on his forehead. I want to say that both boys really shook it off. I have to say that it happend right in front of me and Rudy and I both made noises that you would watching a big hit on Sundays in the winter.

OK, I need to step on the soapbox. PLEASE make sure that all mouthpieces a cut and sizes to the kids smaller mouths. This was NOT this case in this time but accidents do happen. MY son was not wearing his mouthpiece at the time of this accident. It was the first time that I have been shocked in coaching these kids. Ok off the soapbox.

5-6 Steelers another great practice. You guys are really working hard to be a great team. I see it in all of you. Remember that you are working as a unit. Your job playing this game effects the whole team. This is a true team game. Remember shuffle your feet stay home, get infront and persue. Be ready for our photo's and a game against the Saints. REMEMBER any time I say the number 1 U CAN'T SEE ME is getting the ball and any time that I say the number 2 ANDREW is getting the ball. 318 ------ U is getting the ball 234 ----- Andrew is getting the ball.

Be ready to play DF and we will be ready to face the Saints!


Everyone needs to be at the field at 7:30!

Last thing, congratulations to Trey and Danny as being picked as the team captians for this game. Remember that the these are chosen by the Steelers rules. Listening, Working hard and having fun.
